12 Hours in Singapore — The Elevated Scenery (Grab)

Transport: Grab · Vibe: Maximum views & absolute comfort · Pace: High-Track

Twelve hours and a Grab account give you the ultimate aerial tour of Singapore. This itinerary connects the city's highest and most scenic points—from the canopy walk at Henderson Waves to the peaks of Mount Faber and the futurism of Gardens by the Bay. It is the most door-to-door way to see Singapore's skyline without the MRT commute.

Departure from Changi

Take a Grab from the designated pick-up point. It is a 20-minute ride to Henderson Waves, starting your trip at the highest pedestrian bridge in the country. Download the Grab app and link your payment method before you land.

Stop 1 — Henderson Waves & Southern Ridges

Arrive: ~35 min after leaving Changi · Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Henderson Waves is an architectural marvel. Standing 36 metres above the jungle floor, it offers incredible views of the ocean and the city. Walking through the canopy of the rainforest here feels worlds away from the city centre.

📸 Photo moment: The undulating wood curves of the bridge against the skyline.

Stop 2 — Cable Car Views at Mount Faber Peak

Arrive: ~2h 15min after leaving Changi · Duration: 1 hour

A quick 8-minute Grab ride takes you from the waves to Faber Peak. This is the highest point in the harbour area. Ring the "Bell of Happiness" and enjoy the view of the cable cars gliding over the Keppel harbour toward Sentosa Island.

Stop 3 — Singapore Botanic Gardens (UNESCO)

Arrive: ~3h 30min after leaving Changi · Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Travel via Grab to the Botanic Gardens. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, it represents 160 years of tropical botanical history. Walk through the Swan Lake area and spend your time in the National Orchid Garden, which houses the largest orchid display in the world.

Stop 4 — Gardens by the Bay (Cloud Forest & Light Show)

Arrive: ~5h 15min after leaving Changi · Duration: 3 hours

The afternoon and evening belong to the Gardens. Explore the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest. Since you have 3 full hours, stay for the 'Garden Rhapsody' light and sound show at dusk (7:45 PM) — it is the signature night experience of Singapore.

📸 Photo moment: The Supertree Grove lit up against the night sky.

Stop 5 — The Jewel Grand Finale

Arrive: ~8h 45min after leaving Changi · Duration: 2 hours

Return to the airport via Grab. Spend your final 2 hours at Jewel. With the Rain Vortex illuminated at night, it is the most spectacular terminal experience in the world. Head to the Level 5 Canopy Park for one last scenic walk before your flight.
